Nato has traded barbs with Russia’s Vladimir Putin after he accused the alliance of shifting its military belongings in the direction of the Russian border.
Mr Putin mentioned Russia will have to beef up its personal capabilities in response.
Nato then defended its actions as “protective, proportionate” and “in line with our world commitments”.
A spokeswoman advised Reuters: “NATO has deployed FOUR,000 troops to the eastern a part of the Alliance to discourage any possible aggression.
