The family of murdered Maltese anti-corruption journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia is demanding an independent public inquiry as a result of she had suffered years of intimidation.<\/p>\n

She was killed via a car bomb near her home in October. Her broadly-read blog accused top politicians of corruption. <\/p>\n

one of her sons, Paul, stated three puppy dogs were killed and attempts were made to burn down the journalist’s home.<\/p>\n

“Our pet dogs have been killed – poisoned, throat slit, poisoned again,” he stated.<\/p>\n

“We grew up with this and it was once no mystery that my mom gained these threats,” he instructed the BBC.<\/p>\n
