A suspect is in custody after over FORTY individuals overdosed in a Connecticut park on a drug suspected of being laced with an opioid, police say.<\/p>\n

There were no fatalities pronounced over the incident, but some of the persons are in essential situation, officials say.<\/p>\n

The first overdoses were reported close to Yale University on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has been knowledgeable of the incident.<\/p>\n

The hearth division gave the affected people naloxone, a drug used to regard narcotic overdoses in emergencies, but those doses have been reportedly ineffective.<\/p>\n

NBC News mentioned that the Yale-New Haven Health Center received seven patients and some were in critical condition. No fatalities were said.<\/p>\n
