Government have close down newspapers in Indian-administered Kashmir seeking to end violent protests sparked via the killing of a prominent separatist militant. Shujaat Bukhari, editor of the Emerging Kashmir, writes on why the news blackout does not wonder him.<\/p>\n

Kashmir’s Training Minister Naeem Akhtar has stated the media ban was “reluctant determination”. <\/p>\n
